Terms and Conditions


PLC World will aim to initiate shipment and deliver Products as close as possible to Customer's requested delivery date(s). Shipment time is normally 5-10 working days. Delivery times may vary for products out of stock according to the time of the manufacturer/supplier.

Customer is responsible for the cost of shipping returned Products; PLC World responsible for the cost of shipping replacements for returned Products and will match Customer’s shipping method.

Upon receipt, the client must check the conformity of the delivered products with the order, and only thereafter shall proceed with the signing of the documents of delivery.


If we receive no communication from you within 7 days of delivery regarding any problems with the item(s), you are deemed to have received the items in full working order and with no problems. 

If you wish to return an item for any reason this should be reported to us within 7 days of delivery. You then have a further 7 days to return the item, with all packaging and documentation, for assessment/inspection. 

We will only authorise the return of an item in the following cases: 

Faulty when received - 

We offer a full 12 Months return to base warranty on all reconditioned, service exchange and new parts. So if you have any problems within 12 months from the date of delivery then please contact our Customer Relationship Team who will be happy to help and explain what you need to do next.

Damaged in transit - 

If items are damaged in transit this should be reported to us within 7 days so we can provide you with a replacement unit. If there is no availability for a replacement, the price of the items, as paid, will be refunded through the payment method used when the items were purchased. Carriage costs will also be refunded if the damage was due to our packing and/or our carrier.

Incorrect item - 

If you receive items which do not match those ordered, you should contact us within 7 days to arrange collection and return. 

Should you wish to return an item for any other reason than stated above we must be informed of the return and reason for return in writing within 7 days of receipt of the item. You then have a further 7 days to return the item in the original condition and packaging which will enable them to be immediately fit for re-sale. Returns of this nature will be subject to a 35% re-stocking fee.  

If you decide to cancel your order after payment has been made but before the goods are delivered, please be aware that a 35% administrative/restocking fee will apply.

PLC World reserves the right to refuse a return that will be delivered in our warehouses not in the same conditions delivered to customer. All products must be returned complete, as received upon delivery. Includes manufacturer's boxes, factory seal, packing materials, manuals, cables and other accessories provided by PLC World in the original shipment. 

The customer must ensure that the product is properly protected with bubbles or packing foam. The products must not be shipped without packing. 

PLC World is not liable for loss or damage during the transportation of returned products. 

This returns policy excludes software and specially manufactured products. 


PLC World does not financially protect, warrant, or provide coverage for any loss or damage associated with the purchase or use of any product or services from PLC World. Loss or damage is defined as any damage or destruction caused to property of, or otherwise suffered by, the customer (including any loss of profits or loss of use resulting from such damage or destruction) and any other loss, direct or indirect, charge, cost, expense, liability or increased liability howsoever arising suffered or incurred by the customer.

Damaged goods

If a package containing the products purchased by PLC World arrives in damaged condition at the customer's address, the customer should refuse delivery by the courier.

If the customer accepts delivery of the parcel, the customer must:

(1) make note of the damage on the delivery paper of the Courier so that PLC World may file a complaint;

(2) keep, as were delivered, the products, the original box and packing material received; and

(3) promptly notify PLC World by contacting customer service via email at sales@plcworld.com.au to arrange an inspection of the courier and the removal of damaged products.

If the customer does not note the damage and keep the products received, the original box, packing and does not notify to PLC World within 7 days of delivery acceptance, PLC World will be deemed to have been accepted the products as if they arrived intact.


All “Factory Sealed”, “New/Open box” , “Refurbished” products sold at PLC World come with a 12 month replacement warranty. All warranties either expressed or implied are provided by PLC World directly and not through any brand manufacturer or distributor. PLC World is not an Authorized Distributor of the products thus manufacturer’s warranties do not apply. PLC World warrants to
Customers, that all hardware Products sold by PLC World will conform to applicable manufacturer’s specifications for the warranty period. The warranty period starts the day the purchased product is confirmed delivered by carrier or (3) business days after the original order date if no delivery confirmation is recorded or made available. The “warranty period” is defined as 365 calendar days thereafter the respective case above. Warranty claims cannot be made without valid proof of purchase via a copy of the original order receipt via email or paper copy shipped with original product delivery.

Customer must notify PLC World of any defective Product within warranty period and return defected product within 14 days of notification. Warranties offered by PLC World are subject to acceptance of and compliance with PLC World Terms.

The warranty will be void if, upon examination of the Product, it is determined by PLC World that the defect had occurred as a result of misuse, neglect, alteration, improper installation, accident, unauthorized repair or improper testing; or the serial numbers or date codes mismatch the originally sold Product or were removed or defaced.
